Courtney Simelton, MSW, LCSW

Life is a journey with unpredictable challenges; navigating it alone can seem overwhelming. Throughout life stages, women are often told many narratives of who they “should” be. This can cause confusion and distress. Whether you are in the stage of high school, college / adulthood transition or becoming a mom, I’m here to collaborate and empower you to be your authentic self and rediscover who you are.

Through individual therapy, I provide a personable and safe space for teen girls and women to tackle life challenges. Specializing in anxiety, depression, perinatal, relationship challenges, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, trauma, identity development and self-esteem; my goal is to help you gain tools to facilitate positive change

I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you cope with daily challenges and find new approaches to handling them.

If it sounds like I might be the right therapist for you, call us at 704-552-0116.
